POCO F5 Series Smartphone Gets FCC Certification, Specs Leaked Ahead of North American Launch

Xiaomi is bringing a new POCO F5 series smartphone to North America, as evidenced by a recent FCC certification. The device, possibly the POCO F5 or POCO F5 Pro, will come with up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a powerful Snapdragon chipset.

The FCC documents refer to the device as "23013PC75G" and confirm it will be part of the POCO F5 series. However, it's unclear whether it's the POCO F5 or the POCO F5 Pro. IMEI database results and leaks from Xiaomiui suggest it could be the POCO F5.

The FCC certification reveals that the phone will run MIUI 14, support dual SIM standby, and come in two storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Expandable storage is unlikely, based on previous POCO F series phones.

While the exact chipset model isn't mentioned, the FCC documents indicate support for Smart Transmit Gen 2, suggesting the phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 instead of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
