Shelved Nvidia Titan RTX Ada Spotted: Engineering Sample With 48GB GDDR6 VRAM

Despite rumors that Nvidia's Titan RTX Ada graphics card had been shelved, a recent shipping manifest reveals that an engineering sample of the card with a massive 48GB of GDDR6 VRAM was shipped from the US to India.

What We Know About the Titan RTX Ada:

The shipping manifest, spotted by Volza, lists the graphics card with the SKU "PG137 EB2 SKU0000." This aligns with previously leaked details about the Titan RTX Ada, including the 48GB VRAM capacity and 384-bit bus.

The "EB2" designation indicates that the shipped card is an engineering sample, which could explain why it uses GDDR6 memory instead of the faster GDDR6X. It's possible that this is an early prototype for an upcoming workstation graphics card, potentially Nvidia's answer to AMD's Instinct MI300.

While the Titan RTX Ada might not see a consumer release, its existence suggests that Nvidia is still exploring high-end graphics card options for professional and workstation markets.
