Nothing Phone (2) Confirmed for US Launch in 2023, Aiming for Premium Segment

Nothing CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will launch in the second half of 2023, and unlike its predecessor, it will be available in the United States. Pei also stated that the Phone (2) will be positioned as a more premium device compared to the Phone (1).

US Market Focus and Premium Positioning

In an interview with Inverse, Pei explained that Nothing is prioritizing the US market for the Phone (2) launch. The company now has a stronger foundation and resources to expand into the competitive US smartphone market.

While the Phone (2) is unlikely to compete directly with top-tier flagships like Samsung's Galaxy S series or Apple's iPhone, it's expected to feature upgrades in terms of build quality, processor, and camera hardware compared to the Phone (1).
