Nothing Phone (2a) Gets a Bold Bauhaus Makeover (Not a Full Refresh)
Two months after its initial release, the Phone (2a) has not received any updates. The new smartphone, known as the Phone (2a) Special Edition in a 'Bauhaus' colorway and available in Europe, India, and the United Kingdom, expands on the existing Phone (2a) with a design that should set it apart from its black and white siblings.
Only two months after its first release, nothing has been provided to refresh the phone (2a). Finally, this new variation has the same characteristics as the original Phone (2a), which is still available in black and white finishes. As a result, it has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1,100 nits, and a resolution of 1080p.
It also includes MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery capable of 45 W wired charging. Furthermore, the smartphone features a pair of 50 MP rear-facing cameras and a single 32 MP front-facing camera. In short, this new SKU merely differs visually from the previous phone (2a) (now $459.94 on Amazon).
Nothing, in particular, has added blue, red, and yellow highlights to the Phone (2a) Special Edition's rear panel while keeping its trademark translucent design intact. The special model, dubbed 'Bauhaus', is available online starting today, but only in a single memory configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for £349, €379, and INR 27,999. Alternatively, Nothing will offer the Phone (2a) Special Edition, which will be available in London's Soho store on Saturday, June 1.
