iQOO now wins the battle for the quickest smartphone, thanks to the improved Dimensity 9300+ processor in the Neo9S Pro. The SoC drives an ultra-fast 144Hz flat AMOLED display, which is powered by a 5,000+mAh battery with flagship-grade cable charging. In addition to Wi-Fi 7 and an IR blaster, the 9S Pro includes Bluetooth 5.4.

In many ways, iQOO's latest smartphone has the potential to outperform flagship models. It has been revealed to feature the same specifications as its predecessor, the Neo9 Pro, with the exception that its 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display is powered by the Dimensity 9300+ in this version. The OEM claims that it received a score of more than 2.3 million on the AnTuTu benchmark during testing prior to the 9S Pro's release. The smartphone also retains a 5,160mAh battery and the same 120W wired charging as the top-tier 12 series - however there is no wireless charging at the Neo-series level. The 16GB RAM/1TB internal storage SKU costs 3,699 yuan (~$511), while the 9S Pro's 12GB/256GB base model starts at 1,000 yuan (~$138) less. The Neo9S Pro was advertised as having new Xingyao White standard and official NBA limited editions; however, somewhat sadly, it appears that the latter is the former but with more full retail packaging, including an exclusive case and matching water bottle. In terms of worldwide availability, it is feasible but not likely: the Neo9 Pro did make it to the Indian market, but it was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU (available in Fiery Red vegan leather on Amazon.in) rather than the more distinctive MediaTek Dimensity series silicon.
