AMD's Latest Chips Deal a Blow to Windows 10
Hold on to your hats, Windows 10 fans! AMD has officially announced that their newest mobile processors, the Ryzen AI 300 series, only support Windows 11. This confirms rumors that had been circulating for weeks, and it could signal a shift away from support for older operating systems.
The official specs for the Ryzen AI 300, HX 370, and HX 365 processors, all listed on AMD's website, specifically state that only Windows 11 (64-bit) is supported. While desktop Ryzen 9000 chips still list compatibility with Windows 10 (64-bit), this move from AMD, combined with Microsoft's ongoing push for Windows 11, could make it increasingly difficult to hold onto the older operating system.
Even though Windows 10 remains the most popular choice for personal computers, the future seems to be pointing towards a Windows 11-dominated landscape. It's time for Windows 10 users to start thinking about upgrading to the newest version!
