Looks like nobody wants the Beyond Good & Evil remaster... Oops.
Despite the original's cult status, the Beyond Good & Evil remaster has landed with a thud, barely scraping past 100 concurrent players on Steam.
At the time of writing, Beyond Good and Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition has peaked at a measly 142 players. It's safe to say that the target audience for this remaster is practically nonexistent in today's gaming landscape. Of course, it's worth waiting for the weekend to see if nostalgia can pull in a few more players with free time on their hands. But right now, it's clear that this project is far from a success.
It's not just gamers who are turning a blind eye to the remaster, either. The press has been equally uninterested, with the game currently holding a grand total of zero reviews on Metacritic. Ouch.
