The new HUAWEI smartphone, expected to be called the Enjoy 70X, has been certified by regulators MIIT and TENAA, revealing its design and technical specs. Initial images suggest a Mate-series inspired design, but with more modest hardware.
The phone, codenamed BRE-AL00a, will reportedly sport a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display (2700x1224 pixels) and a circular camera module housing a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera will handle selfies. Adding a unique touch, the phone will feature a programmable "X Button" for customized functionality.
Under the hood, the Enjoy 70X is said to be powered by an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.3 GHz. It will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A large 6,000mAh battery is also expected, all packed into a 7.98mm thick body.
HUAWEI has not yet announced pricing or a release date for the Enjoy 70X.
