LG Display Begins Production of Tandem OLED Screens, Similar to iPad Pro Displays
LG Display has announced the mass production of 13-inch Tandem OLED panels designed for laptops. This technology, also found in the latest iPad Pro displays, offers several advantages over traditional OLED.
Unlike standard OLED screens, Tandem OLED utilizes two emitting layers of red, green, and blue (RGB) subpixels instead of one. This results in three times higher brightness and doubles the lifespan of the display.
