Red Magic Unveils Specs and Images of Its First Gaming Laptop
It seems Nubia's Red Magic brand is no longer content with just gaming smartphones, as its next release will be a gaming laptop. Images and some technical specifications of the laptop have surfaced online.
The Red Magic Laptop
The laptop was showcased at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai, but the full presentation is scheduled for next week. Based on the available images, it sports a rather understated design for a gaming device. The manufacturer opted for flat edges, reminiscent of the brand's recent smartphones. The only giveaways to its gaming nature are the illuminated logo on the lid and the RGB keyboard backlighting.
Under the Hood
Preliminary information suggests that the laptop will feature a unibody aluminum chassis, a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900HX processor clocked at up to 5.7 GHz, and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or 4070 graphics card. The display will be a 16-inch panel with a 2.5K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and the ability to display 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
The Red Magic laptop is expected to be unveiled alongside the new Red Magic 9S Pro smartphone on July 3rd.
