Xiaomi's Electric Crossover Spotted in First Photos: Production on Track
Just two months after the launch of Xiaomi's first car, details about the company's next model have emerged, including photos of the vehicle. Some have noticed similarities between it and the Ferrari Purosangue.
According to available information, Xiaomi's second car will be an electric crossover with the codename MX11. The photos show the car in special camouflage, concealing its design, but still revealing the overall shape and some details.
The crossover boasts an extended hood and a sloping roofline. Above the windshield is a small protrusion containing LiDAR and other sensors, similar to the Xiaomi SU7 sedan. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the vehicle will be equipped with autopilot or other driver-assistance features.
Bloomberg reports that Xiaomi plans to begin production of the crossover no earlier than the end of 2025, when the company's second assembly line in Beijing is completed. There is also information that the brand's third car will be a relatively affordable model, priced around 150,000 yuan (~$21,000).
