AMD's Newest Desktop Processor, the Ryzen 9 9900X, Undergoes First Tests Leaked benchmarks for AMD's yet-to-be-released Ryzen 9000 series processor, specifically the Ryzen 9 9900X, have surfaced online, and the results are raising eyebrows. Fewer Cores, Higher Performance? While competitors like Intel's i7-147000 and Core i9-14900K boast 20 and 24 cores respectively, the new Ryzen 9 9900X will feature 12 Zen 5 cores.
