Google Leaks Camera Specs for Entire Pixel 9 Lineup Ahead of Launch
It seems the leaks just keep on coming for Google's upcoming Pixel 9 smartphones. This time, Android Authority has revealed detailed camera specifications for all four anticipated models. And if the rumors are true, we can expect some impressive upgrades in the photography department.
Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro: New Sensors and 8K Video?
The Pixel 9 series will reportedly feature a new 50-megapixel Samsung GNK sensor as the main camera, replacing the GN2 found in the previous generation. While the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will stick with the familiar 11-megapixel Samsung 3J1 sensor for selfies, both the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL will boast a brand new 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

Thanks to the rumored Tensor G4 processor, the new Pixel lineup is expected to support 8K video recording for the first time. However, some speculate that this feature may be exclusive to the higher-end models, while the standard Pixel 9 may be limited to 4K recording.
