GoPro Max 2 Teased in First Leaked Image
A new image posted to X (formerly Twitter) appears to reveal the GoPro Max 2, and it seems the company is addressing one of the original model's biggest shortcomings.
The image, shared by user Igor Bogdanov, doesn't explicitly mention the Max 2. However, the camera's design clearly aligns with GoPro's Max series. Notably absent is the display beneath the lens, though the remaining square outline suggests it might have been relocated to the front.
In place of the screen, the camera body now features ribs, likely for improved heat dissipation. Notebookcheck reports that users of the first Max frequently complained about overheating during extended recording sessions or in hot weather. This design change could indicate that GoPro is taking those concerns seriously.
While details are still scarce, this first glimpse at the GoPro Max 2 hints at a promising upgrade that directly tackles a major pain point for users.
