Honor 200 boasts a flagship-level screen despite its budget price, says DxOMark
The Honor 200, a budget-friendly smartphone soon to be released in Russia, has caught the attention of display experts at DxOMark. Their tests reveal a screen that punches well above its weight class, challenging some of the best in the market.
The phone boasts a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2664x1200 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. DxOMark measurements clocked the peak brightness at an impressive 1146 nits. While HDR10 content lacked some punch under direct sunlight, the display excelled in low-light conditions, "providing good detail."
DxOMark praised the "excellent" color rendering across all lighting conditions, with overall readability on par with the Pro version of the device. Flickering was a non-issue, earning further praise. However, jitter during webpage scrolling and the lack of 60fps UHD video playback were noted as drawbacks.

Ultimately, the Honor 200 secured an impressive 18th position in DxOMark's global smartphone ranking, even surpassing the Samsung Galaxy S23+. In its own price bracket, the device clinched second place, just four points shy of the "Pro" model.
