Infinix is gearing up to launch its first foldable, the Zero Flip 5G
Information about two new Infinix smartphones has surfaced online. We're talking about the brand's first foldable, the Zero Flip 5G, and the budget-friendly Zero 40 5G. Key specs and design details for both phones have been spotted on certification websites like FCC and TÃœV.
Infinix Zero Flip 5G
The Zero Flip 5G, listed under the model number X6962, is revealed to have a dual-cell battery with capacities of 3410mAh and 1180mAh, totaling 4590mAh (rated) or 4700mAh (typical). Other rumored specs include 70W fast charging, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
A schematic diagram reveals a large cover display on the Zero Flip 5G, occupying almost the entire top half of the rear panel. The top left corner houses a dual camera setup with an LED flash.
Infinix Zero 40 5G
As for the Zero 40 5G, current information points towards a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a Dimensity 8200 chipset, Android 14, NFC, and 45W fast charging. In Geekbench tests, the phone scored 1096 points in single-core and 3274 points in multi-core performance.
An image confirms a circular camera module with three sensors and a dual LED flash. There's also a noticeable circular cutout on the top left of the rear panel, but its purpose remains unknown. A 4G version of the phone is also expected with the same design and 8GB/512GB configuration.
Infinix is yet to announce an official launch date for both smartphones.
