Intel to Reveal Lunar Lake Processors on September 3rd
Intel has announced a presentation date for their new Core Ultra mobile processors, built on the Lunar Lake architecture. Mark your calendars for September 3rd, when the event will be streamed online.
The presentation will be hosted by Intel Executive Vice President Michelle Johnston Holthaus and Senior Vice President Jim Johnson. They'll be joined by unnamed partners, with Neowin reporting that Microsoft is one of them.
This makes sense given Intel's previous statements about Lunar Lake. These processors will be the first from the brand to support Microsoft's Copilot+ PC certification program. This program focuses on AI features processed not by the CPU, but by a dedicated neural processor.
Intel expects 80 Windows laptops powered by Lunar Lake chips to launch by the end of the year, with around 20 electronics manufacturers expected to release devices.
