The Affordable iQOO Pad 2 Pro Packs a Punch with Flagship Dimensity 9300+ Processor
As predicted by insiders, iQOO has unveiled the Pad 2 Pro, powered by MediaTek's top-of-the-line Dimensity 9300+ processor. Beyond its flagship-level performance, this tablet boasts a large display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a unique aspect ratio, and several other features typically reserved for high-end smartphones.
Display and Performance
The iQOO Pad 2 Pro sports a 13-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 3.1K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10, reaches a peak brightness of 900 nits, and comes equipped with a blue light filter. Accompanying the Dimensity 9300+ is 8/12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while storage is handled by a UFS 4.0 chip offering 256/512GB or 1TB capacities.
Cooling and Battery
Keeping the powerful hardware cool is a "three-dimensional heat dissipation structure" with a total heat dissipation area of 37,000mm². This results in a 30% improvement in cooling compared to its predecessor. The rear camera boasts a 13MP sensor, while the front-facing camera utilizes an 8MP sensor. Fueling the device is an 11,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. According to iQOO, a single charge is enough for 14.8 hours of video playback.
Audio and Software
Audio is delivered through eight built-in speakers: four dedicated to low frequencies and the remaining four handling high frequencies. Software-based multimedia technologies include Monster+ Mode for gaming, Dark Zone Breakout ray tracing, and a "super-resolution up to 1700P" rendering technology. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, and a local AI model called Blue LM.
