realme GT 6 China Release: Different Design, Specs & No Telephoto?

The realme GT 6 launches in China with a redesigned look, upgraded processor, bigger battery, BUT no telephoto lens. See how it compares to the global

The Chinese realme GT 6 will be significantly different from the global version

Although the realme GT 6 smartphone is already available in many countries, including Russia, its release in China has been delayed. This is because the manufacturer has created a separate version for its home market, which differs both in characteristics and appearance.

realme GT 6

Judging by official teasers, the Chinese version of the realme GT 6 will not look like the global version at all. It has a completely different camera block design (a rectangle instead of three circles) and a flat screen instead of a curved one. The reasons for this are unknown. The only thing they seem to have in common is the visual division of the back cover into two parts.

Different Specs for Different Markets

There will also be differences in specifications between the Chinese and global realme GT 6. For residents of China, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has been replaced with the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the battery capacity has been increased from 5500 to 5800 mAh. The charging power will remain the same at 120W. However, there will also be simplifications in the version for China. For example, the smartphone will not have a telephoto camera at all. In the global version, it is a 50-megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom.

The presentation of the realme GT 6 in China will take place next Tuesday, July 9th.
