Known leaker Digital Chat Station has shared new information about the upcoming flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S25, this time focusing on its performance with concrete details.

According to the source, the Galaxy S25 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which supports an AI-upscaling technology similar to NVIDIA DLSS. In simpler terms, the game will be rendered at a lower resolution and then upscaled to a higher one without putting significant strain on the GPU.

This will allow the smartphone to run demanding games like Genshin Impact at 1080p resolution with a smooth 120 frames per second. That's double the framerate currently achievable on the Galaxy S24 with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Theoretically, this technology could also pave the way for porting more demanding AAA titles from PC and consoles to Android.

The leaker also claims that AI-upscaling could eventually become available for smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 through firmware updates.
