Simply NUC Releases Pricey But Powerful Mini-PC with RTX 4070
Simply NUC has launched its Scorpion Canyon NUC 14 Performance mini-PC, available in multiple configurations. The most powerful model boasts an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. But the biggest surprise might be the price tag.
A slightly less powerful version features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. Both models come with 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 64GB (DDR5-5600 MHz, SODIMM), and a 256GB NVMe SSD. They also offer three M.2 slots (2280, PCIe Gen4) for additional SSD storage.
The NUC 14 is housed in an easily disassembled tool-less chassis for convenient upgrades. Connectivity options include one HDMI 2.1 port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, Thunderbolt 4, and six USB Type-A ports. This mini-PC is marketed towards small businesses, retail, digital signage, and other commercial applications.
The Core Ultra 7 155H and RTX 4060 model retails for $1899, while the Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070 version will set you back $2299.
