A YouTuber Gave Skyrim's Morthal a Stunning Unreal Engine 5 Makeover

Leo Torres, the creator behind the eponymous YouTube channel, used Unreal Engine 5 to rebuild Morthal from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, giving the town a stunning makeover. But this wasn't just about upgrading the graphics; Torres also brought his own vision to the project.

Skyrim's

Torres has stated that he always found Morthal to be excessively gloomy and depressing, largely due to its location in a swamp-ridden area. In response, he decided to enhance the town, drawing inspiration from Viking villages to give it a more vibrant feel.

Not His First Skyrim Rodeo

This isn't the first time Torres has impressed us with his Unreal Engine 5 recreations of Skyrim locations. In April, he released an updated version of Falkreath. His portfolio also includes stunning renditions of Markarth, Blackreach, Winterhold, and Solitude.

A Grand Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Torres aims to recreate the entirety of Tamriel, as depicted in previous installments of The Elder Scrolls franchise, in its full, glorious scale.
