Fans of Warhammer rejoiced about a year ago when a series of screen adaptations were announced, with Henry Cavill attached as executive producer. However, it seems this ambitious undertaking might be doomed before it truly begins.
In their financial report, Games Workshop executives revealed that the upcoming Warhammer adaptations might be canceled. The issue stems from the company's inability to find a shared creative vision with Amazon. If they don't reach a consensus within the next five months, it seems unlikely that audiences will see any television adaptations – at least not anytime soon.
