Xiaomi Smart Band 9 boasts significantly longer battery life than its predecessor
Xiaomi has released the first details about the ninth generation of its popular Smart Band fitness tracker. The company highlighted improvements in both fitness tracking accuracy and battery life.
One teaser image boasts a 7.9% increase in sleep tracking accuracy and a 16% improvement in heart rate monitoring for the Mi Band 9. Another image emphasizes the impressive 21-day battery life, a significant upgrade over the current model's 14-day limit. While the design appears similar with a familiar rounded rectangular body, the new model will reportedly feature a more premium metal construction instead of plastic.
iGeekPhone also reports that the upcoming Smart Band will feature an improved display and a more premium feel. Additionally, the vibration motor is expected to be upgraded, offering 20 different vibration modes covering 25 usage scenarios.
