AMD Discontinues its Budget-Friendly Radeon RX 6600 Series Graphics Cards

Reportedly, the RX 6600, RX 6600 XT, and RX 6650 XT, all featuring the Navi 23 GPU based on the RDNA 2 architecture, will soon disappear from AMD's lineup. Once existing stock is depleted, consumers will be offered the RX 6750 GRE with 10GB of video memory or the newer RX 7600 (RDNA 3) as alternatives.

The report claims that the Radeon RX 6500 XT will remain in production for the lower price segment until at least the end of 2024, potentially making way for the RX 7400 and RX 7300 models later on. Currently, the discontinued graphics cards are still available at retailers worldwide, including Russia. AMD has yet to release an official statement regarding these changes to its product line.
