Flagship Phone Battery and Heat Test: iPhone Cools Down the Competition
A new video from YouTube channel TechNick puts seven flagship smartphones through their paces, comparing battery life and heat output. Surprisingly, Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max didn't emerge as the battery champion this time around.
The test involved running a variety of everyday tasks on six Android devices and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, including video streaming, music playback, video recording, mobile gaming, and more. The reviewer also periodically measured the temperature of each phone throughout the test.
Phones Tested:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
- HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- Honor Magic 6 Pro
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- vivo X100 Ultra

Before the tests began, all phones were set to the same display brightness, the refresh rate was set to "auto," updated to the latest firmware, and charged to 100%.
