Infinix Note 40X 5G: Budget Phone Boasts 108MP Camera and AMOLED Display
Infinix has just unveiled its latest addition to the Note 40 series: the Note 40X 5G. This mid-range phone aims high with an impressive spec sheet that includes an AMOLED display, a 108MP camera, and even a software-based "dynamic island."
The Note 40X 5G sports a spacious 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Its punch-hole camera cutout cleverly expands through software to display information like charging status, face unlock animation, and call duration. Speaking of cameras, the front-facing camera boasts 8MP, while the main camera impresses with a whopping 108MP resolution. Rounding out the camera setup is a dedicated 2MP macro lens and an AI-powered camera.
Under the hood, the Note 40X 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a sizable 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. According to Infinix, this translates to 15 hours of video playback, 10 hours of web browsing, 90 hours of music listening, or 16 hours of talk time on a single charge.
The Infinix Note 40X 5G comes in two variants: the 8GB/256GB model is priced at $167, while the 12GB/256GB option costs $179.
