Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) Spotted with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on Geekbench, Hinting at Imminent Launch
It seems Lenovo is gearing up to release the next generation of its popular Legion Y700 gaming tablet. A device believed to be the Legion Y700 (2024) has surfaced on Geekbench, packing Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This sighting strongly suggests an upcoming launch, at least in the Chinese market.
Lenovo's original Legion Y700 (2023) debuted in China last year and made its way to the global market in March 2023, earning praise as a solid gaming tablet. Now, according to a Weibo post by known leaker Digital Chat Station, the 2024 successor has appeared on Geekbench 6.3, achieving a single-core score of 2209 and a multi-core score of 6509. These scores align with expectations for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, further corroborated by the listed core configuration.
While details remain limited, the Geekbench listing does reveal that the Legion Y700 (2024) is equipped with 12 GB of RAM. Given this appearance, a Chinese launch in the next few months seems highly likely. A global release is expected to follow a few months later. As for other specs, rumors suggest the new tablet will likely retain the 8.8-inch display of its predecessor.
