Leaked Concept Art Offers a Glimpse at the Potential Design of the PlayStation 5 Pro
As the current generation of consoles matures, it's only natural for companies to release upgraded, mid-cycle models. Rumors of an upcoming PS5 Pro have been swirling for some time, and now, a potential glimpse at its design has surfaced online.
Reputable industry insider bilbil-kun, known for numerous accurate leaks regarding video games and hardware, shared an image showcasing a redesigned PlayStation 5 Pro. However, it's important to note that this isn't a photograph of the actual console, but rather a concept sketch illustrating its reworked appearance.
According to the leak, the PS5 Pro will bear a resemblance to the original model, but with a notable addition: three decorative stripes running along the center of its side panels (the PS5 Slim features only one such stripe).
Bilbil-kun also suggests that the PS5 Pro will be released without a disc drive. It's possible that users might be able to connect the detachable disc drive from the standard PS5. Previous leaks from other insiders have hinted at the console's technical specifications, and rumors are also circulating that developers are delaying game releases to prepare patches for the PS5 Pro.
The console is expected to be officially unveiled this fall.
