Redmi 14C Launches with Massive Battery and 120Hz Display
The budget smartphone market welcomes a new contender: the Redmi 14C. This latest offering from Redmi boasts a completely revamped design and upgraded specs compared to its predecessor, including a massive battery and a high refresh rate display.
Smooth Display and Sleek Design
The Redmi 14C sports a spacious 6.88-inch IPS display. While the 1640x720 resolution isn't the sharpest, the 120Hz refresh rate ensures buttery smooth animations and a responsive user experience. The display also promises a peak brightness of 600 nits. For added security and convenience, a fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button.
Solid Performance and Ample Storage
Powering the Redmi 14C is the octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, a capable chipset for handling everyday tasks and casual gaming. Depending on the configuration, you can choose from 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. If that's not enough, the phone also features expandable storage via microSD card.
Camera and Battery Life
While the rear camera module might seem imposing, it houses a single 50-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a secondary sensor. Photography features include portrait mode, night mode, and a variety of filters for photos and videos. On the front, a 13-megapixel camera handles selfies. Perhaps the most impressive feature is the massive 5160mAh battery, which coupled with 18W fast charging, promises long-lasting usage.
Additional Features and Availability
Rounding out the features are a 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC for contactless payments. The Redmi 14C is already available in the Czech Republic, with the base 4GB/128GB variant priced at €120 and the 8GB/256GB option costing €149.
