vivo V40e: Mid-Range Camera Phone Boasting Sony Sensor and 80W Fast Charging
vivo has launched the V40e, a new mid-range smartphone focusing on camera capabilities and fast charging. The device features a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP front-facing camera, and vivo's signature Aura light ring.
The vivo V40e sports a large 6.78-inch curved display with a 2400x1080 pixel resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 93.3% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and HDR10+ support. The display has also been certified for low blue light emissions.
In addition to OIS, the rear camera supports electronic image stabilization for video recording. Thanks to the 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor and specialized software, the phone delivers sharp portraits with 2x digital zoom that rivals the quality of optical zoom. An AI-powered eraser tool allows for easy removal of unwanted objects from photos.
Powering the V40e is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A substantial 5000mAh battery provides ample power, supported by an impressive 80W fast charging technology. vivo claims that the battery can last for up to 98 hours of music playback or 20 hours of YouTube video streaming.
The vivo V40e will be available for purchase in early October, with a price tag of $346 for the 8GB/128GB version and $370 for the 8GB/256GB model.
