The device features a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP front-facing camera, and vivo's signature Aura light ring. The vivo V40e sports a large 6.78-inch curved display with a 2400x1080 pixel resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 93.3% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and HDR10+ support. The display has also been certified for low blue light emissions. In addition to OIS, the rear camera supports electronic image stabilization for video recording. Thanks to the 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor and specialized software, the phone delivers sharp portraits with 2x digital zoom that rivals the quality of optical zoom.
