AMD has unveiled its latest desktop processor, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, designed to deliver enhanced gaming performance. Built on the "Zen 5" architecture and featuring 2nd Gen AMD 3D V-Cache technology, the 9800X3D promises significant improvements for gamers. 2nd Gen 3D V-Cache Technology AMD has re-engineered its on-chip memory solution with 2nd Gen 3D V-Cache. By relocating the 64MB cache beneath the processor, the core complex die (CCD) sits closer to the cooling solution, resulting in cooler "Zen 5" cores, higher clock speeds, and up to an average 8% gaming performance boost compared to the previous generation.
