Despite the tech industry's infatuation with artificial intelligence (AI), a new survey reveals that smartphone users aren't as enamored with AI features as manufacturers might hope. CNET's survey of over 2,484 Americans highlighted a significant disconnect between industry focus and consumer priorities. The People Have Spoken: Battery Life Reigns Supreme When asked about their top priorities when purchasing a new smartphone, a whopping 61% of respondents ranked a large battery as their primary concern. Following closely behind were ample storage space (46%) and high-quality cameras (38%) . AI, on the other hand, lagged significantly behind.
