Special Edition Galaxy Z Fold6 Spotted on Samsung's Website
Rumors of a special edition Galaxy Z Fold6 have been confirmed as the device has appeared on Samsung's website. While the information was likely published prematurely, we now have a glimpse of what to expect from this unique foldable smartphone.
The new device will be called the Galaxy Z Fold6 (Special Edition). The prematurely released details can still be found on Samsung's website (unless the company removes the page). Visually, it resembles the regular Galaxy Z Fold6, but it's expected to be larger. The Special Edition will sport a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner display, compared to the 6.3-inch and 7.6-inch screens on the base model.
Apart from the screen size, no significant differences are expected in other specifications. The Special Edition is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, have a peak display brightness of up to 2600 nits, and feature a triple camera setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.
According to another leak, pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold6 (Special Edition) will begin on October 18th, with the phone hitting shelves on October 25th.
