Xiaomi 15 Ultra Design Leaked: Schematics Reveal Camera Layout and Sleek Aesthetics
New details have emerged about the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra, with leaked schematics showcasing its design, including a detailed camera layout.
The images suggest that the smartphone will sport a flat display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. The back panel houses a large, circular Leica camera module, visually similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but with a different sensor arrangement.
Impressive Camera Setup:
The top of the module features a single periscope camera with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor. Below it, according to the leak, will be a 50MP Sony LYT-900 primary sensor (likely 1-inch in size) with OIS. Completing the camera system are a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens (122-degree field of view) and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 75mm focal length.
Premium Features Expected:
Other rumored specifications for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra include a 2K resolution display, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or 8 Elite processor, up to 24GB of RAM, a 6200mAh battery, and Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 skin. The smartphone is also expected to be available in three finishes: artificial leather, fiberglass, and ceramic.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to launch in late 2024 or early 2025.
