AMD's Dominance on Amazon
For the first time, no Intel CPUs appear in Amazon's top 10 best-selling CPUs list. Even with price cuts, Intel's Core i5 13600KF has fallen to 12th place, trailing behind AMD's Ryzen 5 7600X. The top sellers on Amazon include the Ryzen 7 5700X and Ryzen 5 5600X, both offering compelling value.
Ryzen 9800X3D Tops Newegg Charts
On Newegg, the story is slightly different, with the Ryzen 9800X3D leading the best-selling CPUs chart. Although AMD still dominates the list, Intel manages to hold a few spots in the top 10. The Ryzen 9800X3D, 7800X3D, and 5700X3D are popular on both Amazon and Newegg.
AMD's Growing Market Share
AMD's success extends beyond US markets. In Germany, AMD holds a staggering 94.49% CPU market share at retailer Mindfactory. Even in the competitive Korean DIY market, AMD has reached a 62% share, demonstrating significant growth.
Intel's struggles are largely attributed to the success of AMD's X3D chips, which have proven to be a winning formula. Without a strong competitor to counter the X3D processors, Intel's market share may continue to decline.
