The first specifications for AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 8000 "RDNA 4" mobile GPUs have surfaced, courtesy of Golden Pig Upgrade Pack on Bilibili. The leak details at least four SKUs, their memory configurations, potential Navi 4X GPUs, and TGP (Total Graphics Power) ranges.
Leaked Specifications
Model | Memory | Possible GPU | TGP (W) |
---|---|---|---|
R25M-E6 | 16 GB / 256-bit | Navi 48 (XT?) | 80-175 |
R25M-E4 | 12 GB / 192-bit | Navi 48 (XL?) | 80-175 |
R25M-P6 | 8 GB / 128-bit | Navi 44 (XT?) | 75-150 |
R25M-P4 | 8 GB / 128-bit | Navi 44 (XL?) | 50-130 |
The R25M-E6 and R25M-E4 are expected to replace the Radeon RX 7900M and RX 7800M, respectively. The R25M-P6 and R25M-P4 are likely successors to the entry-level RX 7600M XT and RX 7600M.
It's unclear whether the mobile RDNA 4 GPUs will have the same memory speeds as their desktop counterparts, which are rumored to feature 18, 19, and 20 Gbps GDDR6 memory.
In addition to the RX 8000 series, AMD is also expected to release a refreshed Navi 33 GPU for entry-level laptops, based on the optimized RDNA 3 architecture.
The desktop variants of the RX 8000 series are expected to be unveiled at CES 2025 and launch in Q1 2025.
