ASUS has officially announced its latest gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro. Both boast the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and several key upgrades.
Key Features
Both models share a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. Gamers will appreciate the up to 185Hz refresh rate (enabled via ASUS's Game Genie, and game-dependent).
A standout feature is the customizable AniMe Matrix on the rear. The ROG Phone 9 features 85 mini-LEDs, while the ROG Phone 9 Pro boasts 648.

Availability
Pre-orders are available now, with shipping starting today in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China. The ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro will be available in Europe in December 2024 and in the US in January 2025.
