Back 4 Blood 2 Reportedly in Development

Rumors are circulating that Turtle Rock Studios is developing Back 4 Blood 2 . This speculation stems from a project titled "Gobi 2" listed on the resume of actor Jesse Hutch, who performed motion capture for Gears of War 4 . "Gobi" was the codename for the original Back 4 Blood , reportedly named after the studio's late bearded dragon mascot. A website domain for Back 4 Blood 2 was also registered last year. Turtle Rock announced its shift away from the first Back 4 Blood in February 2023. Despite post-launch support lasting just over a year, the game apparently met Warner Bros. Games' sales targets, making a sequel highly probable. Back 4 Blood , a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead , launched on October 12, 2021.
