The latest version of the ShadPS4 emulator continues to push the boundaries of Bloodborne's performance on PC. As demonstrated by GAMESMARK, version 0.4.1 (not yet publicly available) runs the game at 4K resolution and around 100 FPS on a system with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU, an RTX 4070 GPU, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. This version also fixes a critical audio issue, eliminating the need for a workaround mod.
Last week saw the release of ShadPS4 version 0.4.0, a significant update with numerous improvements and fixes, including:
- Shader recompiler fixes
- Emulated support for CPUs without SSE4.2a
- Auto-update feature
- Swap chain recreation and window resizing
- Improved keyboard navigation
- Working touchpad support
- Multiple install folders
- Enhanced Vulkan support
Version 0.4.0 also runs Gravity Rush Remastered, another PlayStation 4 exclusive, without any workarounds.
