According to tests conducted by Golden Reviewer, the Dimensity 9400 achieved a significantly higher score in 3DMark's Solar Bay ray-tracing test (11,817) compared to the A18 Pro (8,587), while also demonstrating better power efficiency. The Dimensity 9400 drew 11.4W during the test, while the A18 Pro consumed 11.1W, resulting in a roughly 30% efficiency advantage for the MediaTek chip.

Similar results were observed in other 3DMark benchmarks like Steel Nomad Light and WildLife Extreme, where the Dimensity 9400 consistently outscored the A18 Pro while consuming less power.

These results clearly indicate that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is a top performer in terms of GPU capabilities, outperforming the A18 Pro in both raw performance and efficiency. Comparisons with the Snapdragon 8 Elite are still pending, but the Dimensity 9400 is shaping up to be a formidable competitor.
