EA Conducting Extensive Testing for Battlefield VI

Electronic Arts is reportedly investing heavily in the development of Battlefield VI, including unprecedented levels of playtesting, to regain player.

Following the disappointments of Battlefield V and Battlefield 2042, Electronic Arts is reportedly pulling out all the stops for the next installment in the franchise, including an unprecedented amount of playtesting.

EA Conducting Extensive Testing for Battlefield VI

According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, EA is heavily investing in Battlefield VI. Four studios—DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect—are working on the title. Furthermore, they are conducting regular playtests to gather player feedback. While playtesting is common in game development, Henderson emphasizes the scale and frequency of these tests for Battlefield VI, surpassing previous entries in the series.

Battlefield VI's release date remains unconfirmed. However, the game is expected to feature a modern setting, a return to the classic class system, and 64-player battles.
