A major PC manufacturer is reportedly developing a fanless PC featuring a 65W AMD Ryzen desktop processor, a unique offering in a market dominated by fan-cooled systems.
Fanless PCs rely on passive cooling solutions like large heatsinks and heat pipes for heat dissipation. While existing fanless PCs typically use low-power mobile CPUs, this new system is rumored to utilize a standard 65W desktop Ryzen processor, likely from the Ryzen 8000G series. This is a significant departure from current fanless mini PCs, most of which are based on entry-level Intel processors with limited performance.
The upcoming fanless Ryzen PC is expected to offer superior performance compared to existing fanless systems, especially in gaming and CPU-intensive tasks. More details about specifications, pricing, and availability are expected soon.
