The return of OG mode means iconic locations like Tilted Towers and items like the Baller will be available as a regular part of the Fortnite experience.

This move coincides with Fortnite's Chapter 2 Remix event, which revisits and tweaks the game's second chapter, incorporating musical influences from artists like Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice. Each week, these artists "remix" the island, introducing unique elements and gameplay changes.

Fortnite isn't the only game embracing nostalgia. Other live-service shooters, including Apex Legends and Overwatch, have also held similar throwback events, capitalizing on players' fondness for the original game experiences.
