The GPD Pocket 4 handheld PC is now available for pre-order on Indiegogo. All three configurations are offered with pre-sale discounts, with shipping expected in January 2025.
Powerful Configurations
The Pocket 4 offers two AMD Ryzen AI 9 "Zen 5" configurations and one with the "Hawk Point" Ryzen 7 8840U. The top-end model features the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with Radeon 890M graphics (16 CUs), capable of handling most games at 1080p. For even better gaming performance, the Pocket 4 supports eGPUs via its USB4 port.
The other Zen 5 configuration uses the Ryzen AI 9 365 with Radeon 880M graphics (12 CUs). The Ryzen 7 8840U model, with Radeon 780M graphics, also offers respectable gaming performance at 1080p with appropriate settings. All models come with a 45 Wh battery and modular expansion slots.
