GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition Mod Nearing Completion

Development of the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nextgen Edition mod is nearly finished, with a release expected by the end of 2024 or early January 2025. The mod's creators, Revolution Team, recently released a story-focused trailer and confirmed that the project is 95% complete and in its final testing phase. While unforeseen bugs may push the release to January, the team is aiming for a 2024 launch. The Nextgen Edition mod promises enhanced visuals and gameplay for the classic Rockstar title. While the new trailer showcases the game's story, it does not yet feature the improved interior lighting that will be present in the final release. For those eager to revisit Vice City, the official GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is also available, which includes a remastered version of the game. This compilation recently received updates that address some of the issues present in the PC and console versions.
