Honor Pad GT Rumored to Launch with Large Battery and New Chipset

Leaks suggest Honor is preparing to launch a new tablet, possibly called the Pad GT, with a large battery and MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 processor.

Honor is reportedly gearing up to launch a new tablet, potentially named the Pad GT, alongside its next GT-series smartphone in December 2024. This new tablet is rumored to feature a large battery and MediaTek's latest mid-range processor, the Dimensity 8350.

While positioned as a counterpart to the existing Pad GT Pro, the new Pad GT may feature an 11.5-inch LCD instead of an OLED display. However, it's expected to retain the 144Hz refresh rate, thanks to the Dimensity 8350. This could make the Pad GT the first tablet to utilize this new MediaTek chipset.

The Pad GT is also tipped to be remarkably thin, despite packing a large battery. This new tablet, along with an upcoming Honor laptop, is believed to be part of a more aggressive product strategy for the Chinese market.
