Alongside the foldable Mate X6, HUAWEI has also unveiled the Mate 70, a classic flagship smartphone. As is tradition, the focus is on photography, but the device also offers competitive specifications across the board.
Display and Performance
The HUAWEI Mate 70 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 2688x1216 resolution, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 1449Hz PWM dimming frequency. It measures 160.9 x 75.9 x 7.8 mm and weighs 203 grams, sporting a flat design for the sides, back cover, and display.
Powering the device is a Kirin 9000 series octa-core processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. A 5300mAh battery supports 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Camera System
The Mate 70's main camera is a 50MP sensor with a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0 and optical image stabilization (OIS). It also includes a 12MP periscope telephoto camera with 5.5x optical zoom and a 40MP ultrawide camera. A multispectral sensor enhances color accuracy.
