The Core Ultra 9 285H, part of the Core Ultra Series 2, features 16 cores (6 P-cores + 10 E-cores) and 16 threads. It boasts a base clock of 3.70 GHz, a boost clock of 5.4 GHz, and 24 MB of cache.

Geekbench Benchmark Results

The benchmarks were conducted on a Dell Pro Max 16 laptop with 64 GB of DDR5-6400 memory. The 285H, being an "H" series SKU, likely operates within a 35-45W TDP range, with a maximum Turbo Power (MTP) of 115W. The laptop is expected to feature an RTX 40 series GPU alongside Intel's improved Xe-LPG+ iGPU, with future configurations potentially offering RTX 50 series options.

Performance Comparison

The Core Ultra 9 285H achieved a single-core score of 2665 and a multi-core score of 15,330 in Geekbench 6. Compared to the Core Ultra 9 185H "Meteor Lake," this represents a performance increase of approximately 19% in single-core and 28% in multi-core performance.

While slightly trailing the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in single-core performance, the 285H shows a significant advantage in multi-core workloads. Final performance may vary depending on TDP and further optimizations.

The Core Ultra 9 285H and the rest of the Arrow Lake-H and HX family are expected to debut at CES 2025.
